hey guys chinmay here with another tutorial. this one is specially for people who have problem with the physical or the soft keys on your phone.and it will look like this
firstly your device must be rooted and android 4.0 or 4.1
so if you have a rooted phone follow the steps i do.
lets start by downloading root explorer. its a paid app but again there are ways to get it free which i wont be discussing that here. once downloaded fire it up
scroll down to system folder and open it
you will see the file called "build.prop: press n hold on it and scroll down to open in text editor
once opened you will see text on your screen . just dont mess with anything because this file is very important .
just scroll to the bottom and type this code >> "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" (without caps, without space, n its a zero)
once written cross check the spellings and press the option key and click save and exit. now just reboot your phone and you will get the on screen controls. go ahead try it yourself thank me later :)

I am not able to save the code.. Even its saying saved but its not saving... Wats the problem.. Could u tell me pls..
ReplyDeletedownload the latest root explorer. this error was seen in old versions of root explorer. you can try deleting cache and dalvik cache from cwm if you are rooted
