prerequisite - android phone, pc/mac, wifi router
yes airdroid is faster and better replacement for the jobs done by a usb cable for file transfer. all you need to do is go to google play store and search for airdroid or simply click here
next step is go to your pc/mac and go to web.airdroid.com and then on your phone open airdroid and click to scan the OR code
